Samantha's Birthday

So...Samantha's birthday was on the 26th. Obviously, a birthday party was in order.

But wait! Is that all? How could I forget Kirsten? Well, she'll go to the doll hospital soon enough. We are trying to get her there!

Samantha slept in until 8:00 on Saturday.

When she woke up...she'd completely forgotten it was her birthday. She just got scared, because she'd slept in an hour and a half!

When she saw the dress that she'd readied the night before, however...

She remembered it was her birthday.

The dress is the birthday/celebration ect. dress.

Cassandra did Samantha's hair.

Cassandra blabbered on about nothingness. She didn't mention 'Happy Birthday' at all.

Kit, meanwhile, made breakfast. Nothing special, but at least Samantha didn't have to make it herself. (This was done in secret - Kit and Cassandra wanted to surprise Samantha.

Samantha's friend Blondie came over, but she didn't say anything about Samantha's birthday, either.

Flowerpot, another of Samantha's friends, came over as well. She didn't say anything.

In fact, everyone was in the gym/playroom. Not paying attention to Samantha.

Samantha thought they were purposely ignoring her. Well...it was true...but for a different reason than she thought!

Cassandra needed Kit's help with the presents.

They brought 'em to the living room.

Kit brought Samantha to the living room blindfolded. 

WHAT!

And so, Samantha opened her first present. It was from Cassandra.

What fabulous headbands! Samantha was so happy. You should have heard how much she said 'Thank you' on Saturday.

This next one was from Kit.

Soccer cleats and a soccer ball! Samantha was really, really, really, really happy.

Kirsten sent a present from where she was.

This skirt will be awesome for Samantha to wear!

Blondie and Flowerpot gave her a positively perfect pillow.

Then they all went to breakfast.

It was delicious, let me assure you.
